Origins Just Browsing
Posted By: Emerysue on 2014-06-02 20:39:08

I have used this product for several years and I love it. My eyebrows are almost completely white and Just browsing gives them the appropriate amour of color to cover the white but without looking gloppy. It also make my eyebrows look thinker and totally natural..

its oily and SMELLS HORRIBLE. Smudge Pot is revolting, steer clear!

Avon MagiX Face Perfector
Posted By: luxeperla on 2014-04-15 13:32:21

First, I love that Magix can be used for all skin tones - women with deep skin tones often find it hard to find quality products. The beauty of Magix is that you can layer it under foundation or use it alone. Great for smoothing the look of pores, reducing lines, etc. Contact Ebony at luxeperla@gmail.com if you need help finding it.

Gerda Spillmann Bio Fond Cream Foundation
Posted By: CammieRose on 2013-12-30 08:28:27

I have been using this foundation for years. Tried others, but always came back to Bio Fond. Absolutely flawless coverage and looks completely natural. So many colors to choose from, it is easy to find a match.

M.A.C. Paints

MAC paints are fantastic! I wish they still made the plethora of colors they used to! Now it seems most of what they have are neutral/skin tone shades. These are fantastic bases (I still use something like Lorac Behind the Scenes Primer underneath to prevent creasing). They help your shadows show true to color and last all day. They're also great to apply shadow over because they dry to a semi powdery finish and make blending a dream!

Stila Convertible Color

I currently own 6 of these: I went through a phase where I only used cream blushes (that seems to happen every winter). I purchased my first one (Lillium) on sale about 1.5 years ago for $15 and it was love at first use. I have since used that one in its entirety and am over half done with the second. That really says a lot to me about a blush, especially since I own 30+ blushes. To completely use one must mean I really love it!!

M.A.C. Powder Blush
Posted By: brazilrebecca on 2013-06-22 11:39:33

MAC blushes are probably my all time favorite powder blushes. I currently own 21 of them and love each and every one equally. The Sheertone & Sheertone Shimmer are probably by far the best in my book: they go on smooth, have great color payoff, no patchiness, etc. etc. The Matte blushes are my least favorite: I find on my dryer skin that they apply extremely patchy and fade very quick.

Visiora CN Liquid Face and Body Makeup

I was told when purchasing this product, that it was good for my clients to use on their legs to cover their vericose veins. BS! This stuff is so sheer, and is totally transferable to clothes, I wouldn't let anyone put this on let alone apply it on anyone. Waste of money, over rated, much better products in this class out there. I am mad I'm out the money. Seriously. If you want sheer and thick at the same time, this is the product for you. It does smell nice. ;-) , hence the one star.

Benefit Bathina "Take a Picture ... It Lasts Longer..."
Posted By: MakeupbyHN on 2013-03-12 19:05:58

Formerly known as Bathina Body so Fine, this balm is a must have! Ever wonder how celebs always have glowing legs but not oily? (well, some do use oil, yuck!) This is the product most use on their legs to get that glow! try it on your decolatage as well! Can't live without this! My clients are hooked!

Thank you SO much for this breakdown! I absolutely adored Clary's whole look in the movie. Can there be any detail given on the application of the eye shadow ie; the pink color went in the crease etc? Also, Clary wore a particularly beautiful color of nail polish throughout the film. Would you be able to identify the brand and name?

Winter Nights has long been d/c, but the Fall 2013 shadow quad called "Mystere" is an almost exact dupe. I am relieved because Wnter Nights was one of my favorites and I couldn't replace it once I used it up. Google Winter Nights and Mystere and compare the pics. Other happy Chanel users are also commenting on beauty blogs how happy they are that Winter Nights is "available" again. Hope this helps!

I love how they did Bella's makeup in the movies. It is very minimalistic and natural - it's as if she isn't wearing any makeup at all! I don't really like to wear makeup that often and when I do, I prefer to go a more natural route with it, so I really enjoyed this beauty breakdown.

The Chanel Les 4 Ombres shade is #37 Variation, as shown on Chanel's website here: http://www.chanel.com/en_US/fragrance-beauty/Makeup-Eyeshadow-LES-4-OMBRES-89134. Please keep in mind that often filmmakers change the color/tones of a film, so the make-up colors don't always appear on film as they do in real life.

Thank you so much for this breakdown! I can only imagine the number of requests you've been getting - Kristen Stewart's makeup in BD2 was simply stunning. Stacey P. is a true artist. Quick item to clarify - did she use Chanel's Variation OR VariationS eyeshadow quad? I only ask because Variation includes taupes/plums and VariationS includes bronzes/browns. KStew's eye makeup seemed to be much more brown in tone on film. Thank you.
