For the spring 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart's personal make-up artist, Stacey Panepinto, was called to make the actress the fairest of them all.
“Kristen’s look for Snow White was simple beauty, but we wanted to remain true to the key elements of the fairytale-like ‘lips as red as blood.’ We didn't want her wearing a lot of make-up when she spends most of the movie in the woods, running from the queen,” said Panepinto.
“To achieve her look, I applied a small amount of foundation with Sensai Silk Brightening Cream all over her face. The combination of the two products gave her a luminous glow. [I] followed that with a cream blush applied to the apples of her cheeks and a wash of eye shadow over her lids (a custom blend from the Dior Palette). To complete the look, I used Diorshow mascara to define her lashes and then dabbed the Sensai lipstick on with a brush to give her lips the perfect amount of red without looking like she was wearing lipstick.”
