For the fourth installment of Fast & Furious—a box-office smash that reunited the original cast—make-up artist Gerald Quist created different looks for three very different characters. Michelle Rodriguez, he said, “shot many of her scenes out side of Los Angeles on various abandoned highways. Constant exposure to sun and wind was a great concern.” Gail Godot, as a villain, got a more intensive cosmetic treatment, while Jordana Brewster, as a love interest, had a lighter look. “Not quite the girl next door, but softer and more accessible than our other two female leads,” Quist said.
