| In The Devil Wears Prada, Meryl Streep riveted audiences as
Miranda Priestly, editor of the Vogue-like Runway magazine. “Meryl and
I decided on the white hair, and we wanted the face to be as cool as
possible,” explains make-up artist J. Roy Helland. In the fashion world,
with its focus on youth, smartly cut white hair ensures Miranda will be
noticed. She is a non-negotiable part of the fashion scene, and her
make-up projects regal confidence. Helland's design communicates not
only power and control, but Miranda's sense of poise and beauty. |

| What color and color line did you use to achieve the white hair? I am a stylist and I\'ve tried several different colors... I have a client that very much so wants her hair to be like Meryl\'s was in this movie. Any info would be appreciated! |

| Meryl Streep wore a laced front wig designed by world renowned wig hair stylist to the stars, J. Roy Hellend. It was made of human hair and was lightened and toned silver and ash. Source IMDB |
