Celebrity make-up artist and Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey worked with actress Jennifer Lawrence, prepping her for the March 12, 2012 premiere of The Hunger Games in Los Angeles. In the film, Lawrence played Katniss Everdeen, the main character in the film adaptation of Suzanne Collin's wildly-popular novel.

| To create Lawrence’s sun-kissed glow, Dempsey used her new Jillian Dempsey for Avon Professional Perfect Contour Powder in Blissful to sculpt cheeks first, then layered a custom mix of two peachy cream blushes, Avon Be Blushed Cheek Color in Tropical Peach and Stila Convertible Color in Peony, on top. This created Lawrence’s overall soft, warm complexion. |
| Eye Liner |
| For Lawrence’s bold and glamorous look, Dempsey put the focus on Lawrence’s eyes by lining them with a deep black liner, Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeliner in Black, and then layering a gold eye shadow on the actress’s lids. Merging the two textures and colors helped create a multidimensional effect that appeared as a sparkling black. |
