"Lea Michele as Rachel in her everyday look is a quick make-up, because Lea has such great skin, great lashes, lips, etc," said Mekash. "She is probably my lowest maintenance make-up because she doesn't really perspire when she's performing and the make-up I chose stays on very well through our long hours. Occasionally I will take off her foundation at lunch and redo it after, depending on how heavy of a performance day she has. We like to keep Rachel looking very young, peppy, and natural, because Lea can be very glamorous with more make-up. Rachel does get to glam up a bit for Glee's specialty numbers and this is when we have fun creating knock-out looks for her."
