"The major challenge in this work situation was finding the right combination of products that held up all day long (sometimes 20 hrs), looked great on high definition television, looked pretty close up (there is a lot of handshaking and photo taking), and also translated to large crowds.  We went through quite a few combinations until we got it right, and just adjusted it depending on the climate. You might start in Alaska, and end up in Florida the same day. You have to be ready for everything, without having too many things to carry," said Strozzi.

Eye Shadow
Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Variations. "There were probably about three or four different looks I would do with the Governor's eyes, using different variations of browns and gold to mix it up," said Strozzi. "I covered the lid (to the crease) with the peachy color to give it some depth, then lined the lash line with the Sephora Brand Slim Pencil in Chocolate Brown. I like to smudge the color on the back of my hand and then apply it with a small brush (I use the Japonesque Eye Detailer Brush in Small) so the line is soft and smudged into the lashes. Using the NARS Small Domed Eye brush (my ultimate favorite brush) I then apply the dark chocolate brown eye shadow from the same quad over the liner to lock it in, and onto the base of the lid. Using a gentle hand, the lightest color in the quad can then be lightly brushed under the brow to add highlight, concentrating under the brow arch, then blending all together with a larger fluff brush."
Eye Liner
Sephora Brand Slim Pencil in Chocolate Brown. "The same color liner is applied under the eye, narrowing the line as it gets closer to the inner corner. The dark eye shadow color is on top of that as well, smudging out slightly in the outer corner, to soften the area where the upper and lower lashlines meet," said Strozzi.

L’Oréal Voluminous® Carbon Black Mascara
